The Austwine Group (Austwine) is committed to the protection of your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988. We will only collect, use or disclose personal information in accordance with relevant laws and this privacy policy.  By providing personal information to us, you accept and consent to our use of your personal information in accordance with this policy.

We may vary our privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by publishing them on the Austwine website.

Collection and use of personal information

Austwine may collect and hold (or already hold) personal information about you as a result of information that you have provided to us, through our dealings with you and your business, including but not limited to:

By accessing this policy, you agree to receive marketing material (including bulk wine lists and updates) unless you have otherwise opted out.  You can exercise your right to opt out of marketing material at any time by contacting us.

We do not sell, rent or trade our customers’ personal information to or with third parties.

We shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that all information we collect, use or disclose is accurate, complete, up-to-date and stored in a secure environment accessed only by authorised persons for legitimate business purposes.

How to access, correct or update your information

We rely on the personal information provided to us. We do not undertake to check or verify the accuracy of the personal information provided.

You may request access to and/or correction of personal information which Austwine holds about you at any time, by contacting us.

We reserve the right to decline to supply, correct or update personal information about you where:

• providing access would be unlawful, would be likely to prejudice an investigation of possible unlawful activity, would be likely to prejudice law enforcement activities, or denying access is specifically authorised by law; or
• your request for access is frivolous or vexatious; or
• providing access would have an unreasonable impact upon the privacy of other individuals.

If we decline you access to your personal information or refuse to correct your personal information, we will provide you with the reasons why.
